At Classic Heritage Golden Retrievers, raising English Cream Golden Retrievers is more than a profession—it’s a lifelong passion and a calling we share with a small team of devoted, dog-loving individuals. While our family began this journey, we are blessed to work alongside remarkable people who bring professional experience, kindness, and exceptional care to our program. Together, we are united by a deep love for the breed and a commitment to raising puppies with the very best foundation.
We select our dogs from respected champion lines and only breed those who meet the highest standards for health, temperament, and structure. Every parent dog passes comprehensive health clearances so we can continue improving the breed with each new generation. We follow the British Standard for Golden Retrievers, producing the classic English type—blockier heads, soft expressions, strong bone, and beautiful light cream coats—all paired with calm, intelligent, confident temperaments.
Our dogs live closely with us and surrounding with loving people, receiving daily interaction, enrichment, and thoughtful guidance. From whelping and socialization to early training, each puppy is surrounded by people who truly care—people who celebrate their milestones, nurture their development, and prepare them to become wonderful companions. This is a team effort, carried out with heart and purpose, never a factory or kennel mindset.
Located in Newcastle at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills—near Sacramento and within easy reach of the Bay Area—we serve families across California and throughout the United States. We also offer personal delivery, ensuring each puppy’s journey home is comfortable, safe, and filled with reassurance every step of the way.

We cordially invite you to visit us and meet our beloved puppies and amazing dogs. We're located in the California Gold Country just 25 miles east of Sacramento. Surrounded by golden foothills, we offer the perfect place to meet and enjoy the dogs. Expect to be greeted with wagging tails and wet noses during your visit, as our dogs are always excited to meet new people.
